
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently made a significant decision to dismiss a lawsuit against Nova Labs, the developer of the decentralized wireless network Helium. The lawsuit, which was filed in January 2025, alleged that Nova Labs had issued unregistered securities. However, in a blog post on April 10, Helium announced that the lawsuit had been dismissed with prejudice, meaning that the company cannot be charged with similar violations again related to the issuance of its native token Helium (HNT) in 2019.
