The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently implemented new regulations to crack down on unregulated peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto platforms operating in Thailand. The move comes as part of the SEC's ongoing efforts to protect investors and ensure the integrity of the country's financial markets.

Under the new rules, foreign P2P crypto platforms that are not registered with the SEC will be prohibited from operating in Thailand. Any platform found to be in violation of these regulations could face severe penalties, including up to three years of imprisonment and a fine of up to 300,000 baht.
